This harness is designed for 2014-2015 non-RS Camaro owners who want to install 2014-2015 OEM RS headlights into their vehicle.

The harness changes the factory lighting operation so the headlights are no longer used as the daytime running lights. Instead, the RS halos become the DRLs, providing lighting operation similar to a factory-equipped RS Camaro.

This harness is available in two versions depending on how you want the halos to function:

Dimming Option
Replicates factory RS operation. The halos remain bright during the day and dim slightly at night.

Non-Dimming Option
Keeps the halos at full brightness during both daytime and nighttime operation.

This harness is designed for OEM lighting components and is not compatible with aftermarket headlights.

Installation Instructions:

Fuse Connection
Locate and remove the 5-amp fuse from position #15 in the under-hood fuse block.

Install that 5-amp fuse into the Gen5DIY fuse assembly so there are now two fuses installed in the assembly. Then install the add-a-fuse into position #15.

Battery Positive Connection
Connect the ring terminal wire to the positive post located on the front side of the under-hood fuse block.

Important: The large factory cable at this connection is black, but it is a positive power cable.

Headlight Connections
Connect the supplied 6-pin connectors inline with each headlight and the factory wiring harness.

Body-to-Bumper Harness Connection
Connect the supplied 8-pin connector inline with the body-to-bumper harness. This is the harness that was disconnected when the front bumper was removed.

This connection is required for proper headlight operation.
